BSO: Man uses stolen card to buy toys
Deputies are searching for a man caught on surveillance video using a credit card that had been stolen from a woman’s car in Deerfield Beach.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office said the woman’s car was parked at a Deerfield Beach post office Dec. 19 when someone broke in and stole her American Express card.
Investigators said the car burglar was driving a silver Dodge Charger that had a partial Florida license plate number of AN.
BSO said someone used the stolen card to make several transactions. About an hour after the card was stolen, surveillance cameras at a Boca Raton CVS store showed a man using the card to buy a remote-controlled car and other toys, according to investigators.
Anyone with information is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477).
